Hi guys! Well after a fifteen hour bus journey and some confusion with a local rickshaw ha ha we arrived in Mazunte. I'm sat in a little shed with a view of jungle in front surrounded by butterflys and parrots. Today i sat and watched the waves pounding the beach where hundreds of crabs scuttled about (no not like the ones you see in Whitby!). They were big with blue bodies and red legs. We have rented a cabaña right on the beach (60 pesos a night which is 3 quid) The owner is a crazy old mexican who thinks he looks like Eeinstien, he is really friendly and fun though. I'm getting better at the 'lingo' it's coming back to me slowly but I think i'll be fluent by the time I leave as not many people speak English! Tommorrow I think we are going snorkelling with the locals, i'm told we will be joined by dolphins and giant turtles! I can't wait to see them in their natural habitat and they are very protected too. Well i'm off to the beach for some local mezcal (fermented cactus drink) to watch the sun being swallowed by the breakwater, Adois me amigos! Love & Peace Ellise & Matt xxx
