Wow, safari was absolutley amazing. There is no feeling better than driving along in a land rover, in africa, in the sun, watching out for elephants, giraffe, lions and all sorts of other things. If you see a lion on safari you are really lucky because they are difficult to spot but we saw 3 groups!!!! and at one point this gorgeous huge male lion crossed the road right in front of us so we have some amazing pictures. We also saw a rhino, a few hippos including one right out of the water so close to us, giraffe's with babies, all sorts of cool birds, hyena, lots of deer type things i cant remember the names of and loads more. So much fun. It was also nice to live in luxury for a night. We stayed in these cute little dorms and there was a pool just over the road. It was amazing floating on our backs in the pool looking at about a million stars. Really incredible. We got back last night and boy did it storm. Iv never experienced anything like it!! The claps of thunder actually made your heart jump, the lightning lit up the whole sky and the rain, we got drenched running about 2 metres to our tent. Quite a few tents flooded, ours was fine save for a little puddle by the door. We needed it though, was nearing 40 degrees yesterday. We are doing the over night shift with the orphans tonight as well which basicaly means babysitting them and making them sleep all night, feeding them when they wake up and attempting to get some sleep. Anyway, speak to you all soon.
love Sarah and Kim
