We made it to Nha Trang after another 12 hour night bus! The roads were much better however so nothing us managed to get a good amount of sleep. On Tuesday we decided to do a motorcycle tour of the countryside around Hue and visit the various sites. 2 guys picked us up just after 10 and off we buzzed out of the city. Yesterday evening we jumped on the 15 hour sleeper bus from Hanoi to Hue. The bus was fantastic, really comfy big seats with loads of space. The problem however is the roads. We spent the whole night bouncing between potholes, it was like trying to sleep on a trampoline with several people jumping around you! After 3 days and 2 nights on a very small strip of beach we have made it back to Hanoi. The trip was amazing! We did a 4 hour cruise of the islands, swam, kayaked, played beach volleyball, drank and generally enjoyed some fun in the sun for 3 days. We stayed in small beach huts 10m from the sea, you can see our morning view in the picture! Vietnam is insane! There is other way to put it. Our flight from Laos took just over 45 minutes to get to Hanoi and then it was an hour in a very packed mini bus into the city. The traffic is just crazy and we learnt today there are 8 million people in Hanoi and just over 4.5 million motorbikes/scooters.
