Last day of the tour, one of the best in my career and how did I have to spend it? Trapped in my room because I had now collected all the passport and didn't want to either leave them in the room or risk a metro trip with them all. Luckily I did manage to give most of them back at breakfast so I was able to go out quickly to get some lunch and to book the restaurant.
I booked dinner for 7pm and meet the group in the lobby of the hotel. I walked them over the bridge to my favourite restaurant, although if I was running another tour though here I would probably be looking for an alternative as the food took about two hours to come out and most people were getting a bit narky, me included.
After dinner we went into the shopping centre and bought some beer to take back to the hotel. The clients decided we should have final farewell drinks in someones room. I volunteered because Leena and I had a fridge. I raced upstairs to clean up some of the mess before Dane, Nat, John, Andrea and Maria arrived.
Fireworks started to go off outside which was pretty cool, we also started giving Maria more crap about her accent and about the dress incident, which culminated in my putting on Simply the best by Tina Turner and then singing it in a Kiwi accent. Simply the bist! Better than all the rist! I was close to hysterical by the end of it.
At about midnight we said our goodbyes and went off to bed, I'm off to London in the morning and then Croatia to start a new adventure.
