yo!, what with dates, babies and stitches its hard to keep up with your adventures! nothing as exciting happening here alas. we had our elvis night, chris's dog ran off barking when i came down in my beehive, can't think why as i did, of course, look fabulous! want to have a 60's night now so i can wear it again! i like wishing for things, i put in a request for more staff and so far the wish is coming true. have 2 new boys that seem to be good so far, no sign of madness yet, although i do miss the company of girls as boys are so rubbish at gossip but it looks like that wish coming true also as amy coming back for summer and a cute girl that came in for lunch wants a job for summer. the shop next door is trying for a kebab takeaway. i suppose that might not be too bad if they come in ours for a drink while they wait, as long as they don't get to open late as that could well involve a brick through the window which i don't fancy! got a private party this sunday, not for any reason really other than it feels like its been winter for a year and a half and we need some fun have talked pete the workaholic into a holiday so think we are going to rome or new york later in the year so at least ive got something to look forward to.....david and nick have split up, think david got fed up with nick's laziness! nothing much else to report. its actually a beautiful day today so im off down the beach, keep having the urge to get a dog as everyone else seems to have one and i feel petless!! anyway continue with the fun and updates and watch out for glass....xxxxxxx

He went back to work on tues, went shopping yesterday & work and today i am off to have a driving lesson in a minute! hey Phil. Glad to hear everything is going ok, and very glad to hear you are now over you illnees (I have had something similar in the past, horrible :( Had a bit of sun here today which is a novelty so have been gardening and planting seeds as well as giving the car a spring clean. The ice cream van just made the rounds too so it proper feels like summer (!). So you've made a decision to go back to Korea when your contracts up then? I think that's great, you are luck to have found your vocation. I am still pursuing careers advice, have just heard from City College that I can do a bit of work shadowing there so I will definitely take them up on that (now I have flex time its much easier) and hopefully something will come of it. In the mean time I try to keep the Greater Norwich partnership in line although this is difficult with Norwich city council having recently put in a bid for unitary status which means the other local authorities that I work for may soon be no more!! I am quickly becoming much more up on my politics as a result and am even listening to Radio 4 (when there's nothing on on R1 or Planet Rock, of course!)

Anyway, the hour went forward today so its already gone five and I have much to do so better sign off. lots of love bxx

hi phil, another open mic night this week, good fun again but accidentally stayed up till 3am and conclude that i am FAR too old to be doing that anymore!! we are having an elvis night in a couple of weeks with free cocktails for the best beehive and quiffs! i have just ordered a fab beehive from ebay, suspect i will look more like marge simpson that a cool dude but never mind, we are going to stick lots of sparkly things on the barman and starch his collar up, job done!! we have found an elvis outfit on the internet for chris's puppy but hes not keen for some reason, chris that is not the puppy who loves everything apart from mr barker who she barks at, he is not amused! not much gossip really, pauline cant drive as she keeps fainting so havent seen much of them, lots of shops up for sale so bit of change about to happen. teetotal barman been stolen by the crown already so have some new boys having a go. had hayley, holly and alice in last week, a proper waitress reunion which involved lots of fizzy of course, we have booked daisy to play in august so expect that will be a busy one. anyway good luck with the girl search and the little beasts xx
