Was awoken at 4am by some men getting on the bus with guns, collecting passports, but it turned out to be the Czech Border Police. So I went back to sleep.

Arrived in Prague at 6am, after a 14 hour coach trip, but hey, it was cheap. Walked into the town, and ate breakfast. Before going to find a hostel. First time lucky, two nights booked at Elf Hostel.

Went to look around the Castle and the Royal Gardens, which were rather special. Then wandered back to the hostel via Charles Bridge. With an assortment of crap tourist stands, and some lazy guy who was using an automatic organ player to busk for money. He got nothing.

It was an extremely hot day, and as I was chatting to an American in my room a thunderstorm broke, so a bunch of us sat outside the hostel watching the storm, shooting the breeze, and drinking the oh so cheap Czech beer till about 2am.
