Got up, checked out, and ran for my train. 6am is early! The train trundled through the countryside, stopping at stations without platforms and houses, but still people would get on and 'leap' off the train.
Finally I arrived at Cesky Krumlov, and instantly love it. I walked up to Krumlov House hostel and checked in. I walked around the town, which is tiny, the shops and bars don't open late, and you couldn't get lost if you tried. But there is something about it that pulls you in.
I walked up to the castle and paid 20 crowns to see the dungeon (about 66p). Which was so rubbish it was hilarious, it was one room with a table in. It's not a bloody dungeon, it's a basement. I wondered why no one else was in there.
In the evening myself, and Lara and Kim from the hostel, bumped into each other atop the hill on the edge of town, so we sat down with a beer and watched the sunset. And planned our rafting excursion the next day.
