I'm home (in a way). Staying in Dunedin at the moment but its slightly odd as it reminds me a lot of Edinburgh. Though it may be the fact that there are Scottish shops everywhere, streets such as Princes St and George St, a statue of Robert Burns and Dunedin is Celtic for Edinburgh.
Have been here a couple of days and tomorrow im off to Balcutha to visit a distant relation. Have just been exploring the town, shopping for warm clothes and doing some tourity things. Such as; a tour of the Cadbury's chocolate factory and walking the steepest street in the world. I did have plans to go to a student party last night with a guy i met in the hostel, however the night was put on hold when he was arrested by the police. Apparently his (slightly crazy) ex-girlfriend told the police he was an ileagal immagrant and since the immagration office was closed for the weekend they had no choice but to lock him up for the night! A bit unfair in my opinion, especially as he was next door to a man who had just killed his wife...Its all ok now though as he is out of jail and now has a restrainng order against his crazy ex.
No other new to write about, other than Sanday is coming out in 10ish days and we have booked a campervan to tour round in, should be awesome as we are going to try and make it to a big festival down n Queenstown called Winterfest which is supposed to be one massive week long party. Looking forward to that!
