After a lot of pondering we have now decided to take the plunge and join thousands of others who every year do 'El camino de Santiago', a pilgrimage route, popular for over a thousand years, from the Le-Puy-en-Velay, France, to Santiago de Compostella, in Galicia, North West Spain.

Due to time pressure we had to limit our 2008 adventure to only the first 14 stages of the route, i.e. from Le-Puy-en-Velay to Cahors but the long term plan is to complete the route to Santiago before the end of the decade!
