First theme park of the holiday and we couldn't have picked a hotter day to go. Not a cloud in the sky. A short trip by ferry and we were at Magic Kingdom. Our first destination was splash mountain. Well we survived the long day of travelling. Just as we were about to board the plane we were moved to the second last row on the plane, that meant 1st on but last off!!! The flight itself was pretty good til landing. Inflight entertainment was good with some great movies to watch. I managed to break my headphones coz I was up and down like a yoyo getting stuff out of the bags for the boys.... (Mainly Jakey) so I had to settle for virgins own which weren't as go...

First full day in Florida has just been a chilled day as the boys are still tired from a long days travelling yesterday. We spent the morning by the pool.After lunch we went to Walmart to stock up. Every time we seem to go to Walmart it is raining when we come out. Luckily it was just a quick shower. Then it was off to downtown Disney for a look around. Almost ready to start the journey over to Orlando. We're flying on Virgins English Rose, boy she looks big. We were offered the chance to upgrade our seats, but at £1000 for the 4 of us I smiled and politely declined. Jake and Lewis have been chilling reading comics and playing on iPads. They're getting very excited now. Looks like we'll be departing on time at 13.45 so if anyone wants to track us the flight number is VS073.

Well, after a stressful day at work we eventually set off on our magical holiday at 7pm. Held up on the M6 for 30 minutes thanks to some kind person spilling oil. Arrived at the hotel tired but ready for a pint of ice cold cider.... Think I deserve at least 2 or 3. Oh and Jake drew a great picture of grandad on the iPad.
