Started off with a superb buffet breakfast that prepared us well....must be noted that there is no gym at this establishment...so we have vowed to take the stairs ( on most occasions). We walked a couple of blocks to acclimatize ( still very muggy...but more that in a moment). As we walked to our destination of Greylines sightseeing tours we decided to book a couple of Braodway shows...Warhorse and Jersey boys. We booked all our tickets and jumped on the double decker bus for a downtown tour... Little did we know it would be a damp downtown tour...so we donned some very fashionable ponchos and got soaked ( wet undies is not a comfortable feeling!!!) We were dazzled by Times square ( or Hannah calls it Central square!!!) We then ventured to the UN and had a tour which included visiting the Security Council room...wow....Hannah then made us get some special UN stamps!!!! After spending a bit of time in the UN bookstore we hopped back on the bus and hopped off at the Rockefellar building where we went to the observation deck on top of the rock...mighty good views and mighty superb camera skills on our behalf!!! We then had a late tasty lunch walking back to 8th ave for the night bus tour and to check out a souvenir store..but we got side tracked and found our way to m&m world...well gosh that was mind blowing..a three storey shop full of m&ms...this is where we had that special photo taken. Then jumped on the bus for a night tour which included heading to Brooklyn to look back at Manhattan ...got some pretty good photos of the skyline I think....then ventured back to the hotel where we feasted on the bucket loads of Chinese leftovers from the previous night !

Deb Petsch what are you thinking taking Hann to M&M'S world, did security check her out before she left the building? I can not believe you fit so much into your day and as for wet undies Hannah would be used of that but not you and I. The weather is beautiful here you can nearly hear the crops grow. The girls all say hi (even though they don't know you) and they want you to take good care of Hann. Keep up the good work representing Australia in the food Olympics. Cheers, deb
