Well hello eveyone. We've been in Queenstown for a few nights. We arrived on saturday night and parked the campervan up to stay in Bungee backpackers. We met a few cool people. 2 from England who work in Wellington and 2 guys from Denmark. These 2 guys work as climbing guides for Franz Josef glacier. We we're going to climb in Queenstown with them, but unfortunatley had to pass up the offer. In Queenstown we've been to the very scenic Milford Sounds and travelled to Cordrona for 3 days to snowboard. The Burton open was taking place while we we're there and Shaun White was participating. Some very skilled young snowboarders. Our third day of snowboarding was overcast and many people got windburn. I was impressed with how Matty progressed with his snowboarding after a few lessons.

Later today we're going ice skating and riding the gondola to look at the views over Queenstown and try the luge (tobaggoning). A relaxing day. Then we're out tonight for a few drinks with people we've met. We've already been out twice, once with people we met at bungee hostel and a second time on a pub crawl with a bunch of ozzies. Some really good nights out. Lots of 2 for one drink deals. So we're going out tonight for our last night in Queenstown and then making our way back up the Franz Josef for a glacier walk in a few days time (after a Fergburger). Write soon x
