San Francisco... We're back!! Yesterday was our 3rd day in Disneyland. We had the opportunity to do and see everything we wanted to one last time. Thanks to Melissa for keeping us on track and planning out each destination all day. We were well organized and felt content with our Disney experience at the end of that day. Now here we are back in the city by the bay. Our plane got in around 8:30am. A BART ride from SFO then a muni bus led us to CJ's apartment at Leavenworth & California. We dumped our bags and headed to Valencia for the most delicious breakfast at Boogsloos. It mostly feels like we never left. Someone actually asked us for directions. We must look like we live here! Even though we have a familiarity with this town, there are parts that are quite unrecognizable. New million-dollar condos and high rises have popped up along Market Street. The Valencia corridor sprouted several new restaurants, cafés and parklets since our last visit two years ago. Hipsters lined the Divisadero strip in NOPA. A new Bi-Rite shop and creamery was buzzing there with people ordering specialty ice cream cones on a warm fall evening. We would've participated in consuming ice cream. However, we were too full from our deep dish Little Star Pizza. (Seriously, the best pizza ever!). Back to the apartment, we finally got to see Carla when she got home from school after 10pm. The air mattresses are blown up and we are ready for a good night sleep. Tomorrow morning will be an early one as this will be day one of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.
