Hola Chicos,
Well we left Buenos Aires safe in the knowledge that we´ll be back at some point - loved it that much. So on to Iguaçu Falls an absolutely marvellous set of waterfalls that mark part of the Brazil Argentine boarder. The falls are a great display of countries having to share something so we spent a lovely day on the Argentine side getting a light coating of spray and giggling at people in needless ponchos, then a day on the Brazilian side having wide panoramic views of the falls. The photos speak for themselves and you´ll see how spectacular the falls are, but in terms of words well ...they were big beautiful, dramatic waterfalls and that's the best we can say so we guess this is a short blog entry...
... Except it would be if we didn´t have to tell you about the wonder that is ´Dolcé De Leche´.
So what is Dolcé De Leche I near you ask? Is it a place Pete and Polly have visited? Is it a new dance they´ve been learning? Is it an ancient ruin? Well no no and no. Dolcé De Leche (or Dolcé D for short) is the finest spreadable food known to man. Yes one of our highlights of South America so far is this amazing food stuff. It's basically condensed milk that has been caramelised into an incredible treacle/nutella type spread. All the hostels that we have been staying in offer it as a breakfast option. ¨Would you like jam on your bread¨ ¨Hell no pass me the Dolcé D¨. It's beautiful, it's amazing it's the future we´ve seen it, it's sweet.
All we have to do now is find out what the legal limit is for bringing it back to the UK.
