Hi guys.....well we arrived in Singapore after a bit of a mission from Auckland, about 11 hours in total through Sydney and Bali!! Singapore is a great place but very hot and humid so it took us a bit of getting used to. We have been to see a few Hindu temples, Chinatown, Esplanade and Orchard Road. We've also sat and chilled out in front of the worlds biggest fountain and watched a light show which was cool! The hostel is great, brand new. We are staying in the middle of Little India which means wicked, cheap food!! ha ha. As you can imagine we stayed up and watched the England/Portgual match....dont know why we bothered!! But guess it had to be done. Singapore is great for shopping....you can buy anything here! Its wicked. Although Singapore is mainly a business city with masses of shopping it does have quite a bit of character. As we cannot indulge just yet, we are leaving tomorrow for KL (Kuala Lumpur), so we will drop you a line from there!! Bye for now, P+L xx
