Taken at the top of Eygalieres. There is a large old ruin. Makes you wonder about the history, who has walked here, why, what did they do, etc? Tried finding out more on Wikipedia without luck. Will Google and see what comes up.

The photo is of the plane trees that adorn every road in this area. If I recall correctly the driver in last year's Tour that took out 4 riders was seeking to avoid one.

We are tourists today. I do not want to see a bike today, much less ride one. Eygalieres is a small village about 15K from our villa. We came here because Leigh and others who had stayed in this area spoke so highly of it. It is vey old. I hope the photo draws this out. It is busy. I expect that it is a popular spot for holiday makers. Have been in one boutique already.
