Hey you two travellers!I have been reading all your posts and am now thoroughly jealous of all your travels in exotic lands. As such I have decided to post a list of all the things you missed out on here just to return the favour! What you missed out on this Christmas1.A box of refrigerated Jatz Biscuits2.Auntie Pauline's scrumptious cheesy thingos (someone should really give them a name one of these days)3.A Christmas Eve rendition John Lennon's of 'War is Over' by the Antioch Music Mob4.A complete retelling of the 'Christmas on the Green' performance with visual aids5.An over indulgence of Ham and Turkey6.A good number of alcoholic beverages7.A Boxing Day Hangover8...I would continue, but I can tell you are already fuming and ruling the day you ever miss another family Christmas. Lucky b******s. See you soon! :P

Hi Ann and Greg,
Hope you had a great Christmas- lunch on top of a Mountain sounds lovely!
I am finally relaxing after Christmas - was far too busy shopping and cooking for Christmas lunch for just 6 people!
Hope you're having lots of fun (don't stress - getting lost can be fun!) and eating lots of yummy things. I will want to see the food diary when you get back!
Love Anisha.

Hi Ann & Greg,
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas at the top of Mount Pilates.
We had a good time at Joan's - lots of good food and drink - and ended up playing 1 versus 100 and temptation 2 board games that Livi gave us - as usual it resulted in chaos but was great fun. Missed you heaps.
Looking forward to your next post. Lots of love Mum

Hi all -thanks for all the messages!
Its Christmas Eve and we are about to get ready for midnight mass in -1 degree weather!!... Thought we'de say Merry Christmas to everyone -as it will be Christmas day already in your part of the world! No snow yet but plenty of fog and you can see the snow on all the trees and the really high mountains. Going up a really high mountain tomorrow -Mt Pilatus (above the clouds!) for Christmas lunch... they tell us its warmer and sunnier up there! So if you try to call and reception isnt great we're not ignoring you! We would both love to hear from you!
Hope you all have a really excellent day -we're both missing u all very much.
Lots of love & Merry Christmas!
xoxo A&G

Hi Kids!! As Patricia has just posted we had a great night getting into the swing of the Christmas season. The last week seems to have been just that. Our farwell to Fr Tony ( minus Tony ) was a fun night. Not only did we have Fathers Tom and Pat but Pats' brother (Joe) and Fr Gerry and Br Robert. We were also suposed to have Fr Leo but he ended up being double booked. Talk about a Clayton send off. Marg and Peter were there so a great time was had by all especially as the guests brought along some quality wines. I think Fr Tom is really getting to appreciate the fruits of the local industry.
We are busy getting ready to have the gang around tonight. It has been hard to get mum out of the kitchen. It was so crazy at Sams today that at one stage all I could do was stand in the back corner and laugh along with those around me at the 10 deep queue and the grid lock around those trying to get their vegetables.
Cath is down from Qld, so it will be nice to catch up with her when we have her, Jeanie, Troy and Grace round on Boxing Day.
Lots of Love to you both from all of us. We will attempt to give you a call.
Love Mum Dad
PS Trish says hi, love you and has been enjoying following all your adventures.

Hi Ann & Greg,
Hope you've made it to Lucerne OK and you have seen plenty of snow by now.
We had a great evening with Greg"s parents last night, but missed you 2 heaps.
Am off to deliver some last minute Christmas cards and pressies now, before getting ready for midnight mass. Hope you have managed to find a suitable church. We will be thinking of you lighting your candle - they always seem more significant in Europe when it is cold and dark! Its still quite chilly here (for Australia) and I would have put the fire on a couple of nights except the Christmas tree is in the way, so I just had to get out the jumpers. It is suposed to be 26C tomorrow which should be good.
Thinking of you and missing you both. Heaps of love from Mum.

Hi! Sounds like fun in Spain. We miss you lots, not the same without you here but glad to hear that you are having fun. In terms of trains, it must be a tradition for someone to have a weird experience with them in Europe......but those stories make it all the more interesting. In terms of getting lost, that also contributes to some great stories like the ones you have already told us :) Will really miss you on Christmas day, but will be sending good thoughts to you. When we light the candles on the wreath at my parents we will know that you are doing the same thing over there. That's pretty cool. Might give you a quick call on your mobile - I will try to work out a time so that it is not too insane an hour! Take care of yourselves and each other - now I sound like Jerry Springer! Love you heaps.
Ken
