On bank holiday Monday we hopped on another train and arrived in Alicante. After getting to the hostel in the afternoon we took a walk around, a lot of things were closed but we don't generally go into the shops and those kinds of places; all the stuff you get back home. We found this crazy street with toadstools with faces on them and slides... It was weird but Paige loved it (naturally).

Another late entry blog post, back on Easter Sunday we rented some bikes packed a lunch and went to the beach for the day. We cycled all through the park and along the coast, was really cool. Paige got sunburnt which was funny but we had a good day. In the evening we went out for some tapas and paella which was the best paella I've ever had. The bar was nice too. I like the spanish time difference, not being an hour ahead of the UK but having a break in the middl...

Today was hot, about 30 degrees. It was great! We arrived in Valencia last night after missing the original train we were going to get (it was literally so full that people got caught in the doors when they closed). Today we walked around town, it's beautiful and very spanish (obviously - we are in Spain) but you know what I mean. The market was cool and all the architecture. We had lunch at a local bakery after trying and failing to find vegetarian paella for Pa...

We did some sightseeing today and walked for miles wandering and exploring. We finished the day off at the beach with an ice cream and then headed to Belushi's bar for a few beers. Barcelona is an incredibly vibrant, colourful city and thrives with history and culture; definatley going to miss it here. Valencia tomorrow!
