Arrived in Lyon later than expected last night, after travelling roughly 10 hours of the day we finally made it. Bit if a struggle to find our friend Jeremy's flat but we did in the end! So we are starting our travels back to the UK now. It's very sad to think I'll have to take off my beloved backpack but it'll be great to see everyone. 3 months is a long time to be away and out of the loop but it is also extremely refreshing to not know the top chart singles or all the stuff that is going on back home in the news (apparently there's some controversy over halal meat?). Spent our last day in Portugal in a funky tea house and in a cool art gallery nearby. This is me waiting for our night train back to Madrid. Yaaaaay *sarcasm*.

Had a really chilled day today, we went on a walking tour this morning, the guy was really nice and so passionate about Porto, we saw lots of interesting things like the bookshop that helped inspire J.K.Rowling to write Harry Potter. Amongst other stuff it was pretty great. He even suggested some cool tea houses around because Paige (as usual) was taking about tea. The picture is another great view; the river meeting the sea in the distance.

It really is a stunning place though.
