so we began the fundraising in newcastle and after 10p raised after 5 minutes, we were stopped by some community officers who took all our details and told us we were not allowed to fundraise in newcastle... damn!

so we headed to .mc Donalds for a team meeting to re think our plan. we decided to shop for some European travel adapters (optimistic) and then went to the train station in an attempt to get to the port at north shields.

we asked a kind gentleman at the metro station how to to get there and when he noticed we were doing it for charity he escorted us free of charge on the metro to our destination! (result)

we are heading to the ferry terminal and may or may not have a ticket to a certain destination.. will keep you posted!
