We left Peace and Plenty at about 10 and started our drive up to the Bay of Islands.we stopped off on the way at Orewa and had coffee at a funny coffee shop called Utopia at Kaiwaka. We then drove on to Whangarei and had lunch at the Whangarei Basin. After lunch we drove via the Tutukaka coast road and arrived at Paihia at about 4.30pm. We walked into Paihia and then went to the supermarket for a few supplies. We had takeaway Italian for dinner.

Arrived at Auckland airport after a very early start at about 4pm. We got the shuttle to the hotel Bella Vista and checked in to the room. I rang cousin Rita and Rita and Colin came up to the hotel to meet us.we went out to dinner and then back to Rita's place for the evening. Had a good catch up then they drove us back to the hotel for a good sleep.
