G'Day!! So in Sydney at the moment and feeling truly at home in the lovely, grey, rainy, cold weather we're having here... it wouldn't be so much of a problem if the airline hadn't lost my bag for over 48 hours so I haven't been able to wear any of the warm clothes I've carried all the way round the world specifically for here! Nevertheless, it's great to see Hannah again (also bumped into three other St Cats girls on my first morning - it really is a small world!) and so great to be back in an English speaking, organised, clean and relatively normal environment. Actually, even the rain isn't so bad as definitely has a certain British charm which makes me feel quite nostalgic.
We've been taking it quite gently trying to cure Hannah's jet lag and organise a whole load of stuff up the coast as there is so much to do and so many options, it's taking a little time to get our heads round it all. We've still managed a couple of good, yet relaxed, nights out though, seen an amazing light display on the Opera House, and had a great time being very immature at the Aquarium the other day! Hoping to get out to the Blue Mountains on Friday and then head up the coast to the sun, sand, sea and surf of the northern areas! (first ever surfing lesson booked for next week - very excited!)
Anyways, I hope you are all well and still enjoying some lovely weather. It's a bit of a shock having to pay for Internet again, after managing to find it for free everywhere in Vietnam! so I'll try and write again once we've done and seen a bit more. We've got some amazing things planned though, so really, really, looking forward to the next few weeks even if the amounts of money involved are a little intimidating.....
