I am conducting a social experiment.
I believe that our society is so rich, Wall Street pundits not withstanding, that a person can live comfortably and contribute to society using mostly scraps.
I have a friend who is allowing me to squat on a corner of his pasture out near Dale, TX. I intend to use things that I find to build shelter and facilities for myself, some livestock, and veggie gardens. I will produce most of my own water and electricity on-site.
I will sell my Surplus at local Farmer's Markets.

There is sure to be plenty of adventure due to the extremes of Central Texas. You will hear about any number of topics from composting and solar energy, to rattlesnakes and 100* + heat waves.
