Hello everyone, just arrived in Sydney. Unfortunately we didn't manage to find a place in Hong Kong to update my journal which is why there is nothing on hong kong yet. We arrived in Hong Kong 5 days ago where it was very hot and humid but probvably still better wheather than the uk. When we first arrived we met up with a friend from school and he took us out to an Óutback Steakhouse' - not very Hong Kong like but at least gave us a taster of oz. we managed to have some traditional chinese food that night though and finally managed to master chop sticks. later that night we saw the light show from the harbour which starts at 8 o'clock every night. Second day we had a shopping day and were plagued by people trying to sell us cheap stuff as we were foreighn to the country, it got very annoying after a while. we went up to Victoria peak the next day and had a Burger King! and that nigt went to a -20 degrees ice bar which turned out to be more of an ice room than an ice bar. Our final day in Hong Kong was a cultural day where we went to a 200 year old temple and a space museum. I will update you about what we are up to in sydney soon.
