3days relaxing in a row wasn't my thing, I was getting twitchy. I knew there was much more of the island to see so I got my hands on a kayak, took a map of the island and headed out to sea. I loved how easy it was to get hold of one. James was scuba diving so my next partner is crime was the Essex princess (who doesn't like the sea) jodi also joined me. We headed west and moved around the island and there was so many beautiful yet secluded beaches on route. Made a mental note of these for when Sophie comes to Thailand.
After parking up on one beach for a bite to eat and drink we headed back. While paddling away the Essex voice behind me started yelling "what the f*** is that" several times. I couldn't believe it we had a whale shark about 10feet in front of us. Jodi was almost screaming but she kept her cool. I knew reef sharks were popular around this area but this whale shark kept popping up for air and it was incredible to watch. We stayed and watched it for a while then headed back to our resort.
A nap was needed after all the paddling and excitement.
