I'm off the flight and settled in a room already.

I had little plans made apart from meeting up with a friend called Katie for dinner. Somehow that girl was in Bangkok at the same time as me and it was good to see a friendly face and also a little entertaining to watch her tip the staff which she handled with such ease. It did remind me of how much I missed my girlfriend though. It's alright i kept it together.

Later on that evening I went back Ko San Road where my accommodation was. I simply took a wonder around the area and parked my arse in this weird little bar that sold beer for under £1. I met a guy called 'al', great bloke about 35 years old with a mental age of a 20year old. His son was coming to meet him the next day and he was just chilling. After talking and sinking lots of beers he took me to a bar called gullivers which was actually full of prostitutes. He sat me in there and we watched how it all goes down. Quite entertaining and I left laughing and even bought a cracking prawn stir fri for 30p on the way back to my room. Boom!
