Cape Town, South Africa
After a leisurely afternoon at our Sunday fav spot, Sevruga's, we challenged our senses, and for some, our fear of heights, by taking a spin in the Wheel of Excellence at the V&A Waterfront. 50m high off the ground at it's peak, makes for some interesting landscape and facial photo opportunities, especially when the infamous Cape Doctor, the South Easter wind started playing up :-).
After about 10 minutes and 3 spins we disembarked from our cocoon pod, all feeling either relieved or enlightened. The necessary momento before photo (taken beforehand so that they can identify the bodies incase of a wheel meltdown :-)).
After a short grocery shopping spree, with the boys browsing Exclusive books, we headed off to the natural water spring at Newlands for our weekly supply.
As usual, the spring was busy with like minded individuals, who from all walks of life, share in the same desire for free mineral water, only as nature can make it. Interesting to see our boys and girls in Blue coming to top up their plastic 500ml bottles on a regular basis.
At 50 liters top-up we were done and ready to drive home slowly, ensuring we dont topple our two 25l drums in our boot.
Till next time
