Day 94. Awoke early to a great view out of our back window from bed of the blue waters of the Bight at Eucla. We were soon on the road crossing the border into South Australia, stopping at several viewpoints of the cliffs and a magnificent rainbow. But the best stop was Head of Bight where we viewed white sandhills to the east and the giant Bunda Cliffs to the west. There were at least eight large Southern Right whales with calves lazing about below us. Back on the Eyre Highway we started to see the flat treeless Nullarbor Plain and more wildflowers. The country looks magnificent at present. Checked by the SA Quarantine Station at Ceduna then we drove through the tidy bayside streets, but getting late so refuelled and pushed onto Streaky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula for a couple of nights. Arrived on sunset into the shady Foreshore Tourist Park and a quick dinner of King George Whiting, chips and salad. Mild 20 degrees, windy and a few sun showers. Drove 630km, tomorrow is a rest day!
