Hello everyone! Finally managing to update my blog! Been travelling through Canada, we went to Vancouver Island and broke down with a flat tire in the middle of nowhere! it was definately an experience, we ended up sleeping in the car in our sleeping bags it was freezing! then a local came and helped us with the car so we could get going again! We ended up just driving to get a new tire and getting the ferry back to Vancouver from Nanaimo. Decided to carry on driving to Whistler for the night which was awesome! knocking on doors to get a room, finally found a place which was q expensive but it had a hot tub and sauna! it was awesome! in a hot tub with the snowy Rocky Mountains around us was awesome :) .
Looked round Whistler then drove onwards through Kamloops and ended up in a motel in Clearwater which was great. less than $20 each and very very nice room and another HOT TUB!! great times! next day drove to Jasper which didnt take as long as expected and we saw some awesome scenery along the way. Jaspers very very nice, amongst all those snowy mountains and frozen over lakes it was great at the hostel too! They had a campfire at night which we roasted marshmallows over and drank some beers. Second night in Jasper included a rather messy game of Ring of Fire! good fun though. During the day we went walked across Maligne Lake, and also over Maligne Canyon. We went cross country skiiing too - great fun but totally knackering! I fell over quite a bit, but got the hang of it in the end - got some good speed down some slopes! After Jasper we went down the Parkway a bit to Athabasca Hostel - amazing place. It was a log cabin in the middle of nowhere, feet deep snow all around, no running water, open log fire and hot chocolate. We played some board games and chatted with the hostel manager called Sasha - very chilled out guy who knew a lot. On Saturday we drove all the way down to Banff down the famous Icefields Parkway. The views either side were breathtaking - massive snowy mountains, frozen lakes and canyons. It was spectacular just like last time! In Banff now and liking it - went dogsledding today it was brilliant fun! got to drive it and got some great pics with Steph and Sally! Bathed in some natural hot springs this evening which was pretty cool - too many people there though. Anyway, internet time is running out again, but my next update will probably be from the US of A!

jojo Hey Pavlo, that sounds well scary sounds a bit like it could have been the canadian version of wolf creek! Glad it turned out ok though and you ended up with hot tubs galore! The dog sledding and skiing sounds amazing, keep up the good work :p xXx
chris Sounds amazing.. I really should have shown you how to change a wheel before you went! Good to hear you're making the most of it :) as if you've been dogsledding!
