Amazing seafood
We were lucky enough to hear about Casa Camara through the hairdresser I went to in San Sebastian.
We took a 10 minute taxi ride to a small town Pasases. From there we got on a little boat - 0.70 euro ride per person. The boat took us across the port to the small town of Pasai Donibane.
Casa Camera was just on the water. It was a very unique way of arriving at a restaurant - very romantic.
The restaurant is known for its seafood. A unique aspect of this restaurant is that it has its own live crayfish/langoustine hoist from the seabed into the middle of the dining area of the restaurant as pictured.
It was the best seafood we have ever had. Paul had the fish soup for entrée which was beautiful .
We each had a seafood platter with langoustines, lobster, crab, prawns, clams, shrimps, baby octopus and cuttlefish. Absolutely beautiful. The desserts were incredible too - Paul had sorbet with cava and I had tiramisu - the best I have had.
Beautiful lunch in a fabulous location.
