I'm in Byron Bay at the moment, trying to learn how to surf and look cool but failing miserably! Nearly lost my trunks at one point this morning. Staying here for about 10 days before moving up to Brisbane. The weather at the moment goes from glorious sunshine to mad showers and back in the blink of an eye which is annoying. Probably due to the cyclone which has hit queensland further north. I have been to the most eastern point in Australia and while I was there was lucky enough to see some dolhins playing around nearby. Byron is full of hippies and stoners so the atmosphere is very laid back.
