Day 1 Cont.. Omg I'm so proud of myself! I went out and about for a wee wander after not being able to sleep and got totally lost! I then managed to find my way back to the hotel using a combination of a street map (printed free from google maps at work....beats paying right?), a compass (I know!) and my fluent Spanish!

Day 1. London - Atlanta - Lima - Cusco Well after 28 hours, 3 flights, (two of which I sat next to two lovely young men. A Bit of Luxury Before Hitting the Hostels! Just over 12 hours to go and all checked in. Had the most wonderfully relaxing day, compliments of Andy, at the Hilton Hotel and spa at Heathrow. Thanks Andy! xxx Feeling excited, scared and very emotional. See you on the other side!

Hey! So this is my very first ever blog! I'm off to explore South America very soon and I'm hoping this will be a diary for me to look back on. I don't want to take a real diary as I have every expectation I will be mugged or robbed at some point and my diary...along with all my pics will be my most treasured possessions.
