Well I landed safely in Hong Kong on New Years Ever after a pretty good flight considering I was dreading the long 12 hour flight! The tablets I got from the docs seemed to help me sleep alot better along with the massive selection of movies that were on including Home Alone! Classic! I met up with Russ and Sara and the rest of the gang at the airport and after a quick change we headed straight out to bring in the new year! We ended up in a pretty cool bar drinking lots of red wine and champagne and watched fireworks from the balcony at midnight, needless to say I felt pretty ill the next day! I was enjoying Hong Kong so much that I managed to change my flight to a day later, plus I got to enjoy a helicopter ride from the top of the Peninsula (if you've watched the latest Batman movie you will see the helipad in that!) and that evening we chartered a boat where we enjoyed some fantastic food and I tried my hand at squid fishing! My extra night also meant an extra sleep in the Intercontinental Hotel, thanks to Russ and Sara for squeezing me in their bed!! The views of the harbour were amazing!

All in all a great start to my travels and now i'm looking forward to the rest!
