27th we went to Railay beach just for relaxing. Three years ago we stayed on Railay and that was also there we did a half day climbing course. We started renting two canoes and went around two of the beaches on Railay. Afterwards we relaxed on one the beaches and saw some people climbing. Before we went back to Ao Nang we booked a half day course for Oscar, Marie and I. I would have loved to see the wife climb:) In the evening we went to and Indian restaurent where we ended up more or less 4 times for dinner during the stay in Ao Nang. 28th was just a relaxing day at the Ao Nang beach. We cannot do something two days in a row. That would be too stressful:)
29th was climbing day - O, M and I went at 8 o'clock to Railay. The woman in the "Railay Rock climbing shop" was actually the instructor from last time. This time we got another one but he also turned out to be just fine. If you do not climb normally a half day course is very fine. We had an excellent half day climbing and just loved it - very must to recommend for others. After sunny days with some hard raining occasionally it was time to leave Ao Nang on the 30iest. It was an interesting stay but with too many tourists. We were supposed to be picked up at 11-11.20 but it ended up being 12.05 no need to be supprised about that:) Only 25 min in minivan to a bustation where we changed to a big bus that took us to Donsak. From here it was with catamaran ferry to Koh Tao with stops on Koh Samuri and Koh Phangan. It was a long day with almost 10-11 hours of travelling and waiting but the worse part turned out to be on the water. Just have to admit the family is not strong at sea especially not the wife who got sick and filled a bag or two:) Late evening we finally arrived at Coral View Resort on Koh Tao had some dinner and then in bed. 31st I was celebrated (43) and it was a relaxing where we saw the place in daylight. It is very nice and quiet here and we can do very intersting snorkling from the beach and until today 1st Jan in the evening the sun has been shining from a clear blue sky - we love it.
