Everyone was on time for the train, the journey was fine, and safe. As soon as we got out the plane the heat hit us. It was a hot day. After a metro trip and short walk, we got to our hotel. It looks its 4 stars put it that way. After that we went up to the restaurant at the top of the shopping centre to see the whole city and the arts and sciences centre. We ate delicious food and were ready to explore. We went to the beach, on the bus which was free, which was a bonus. It was over 30 degrees so to cool off we went paddling in the sea. A few played catch with balls given to us by waiter at the restaurant. A beach ice cream made us feel like we were on holiday! We then went back the hotel and rooms to get ready to hit the town.
Once we had all had a shower and were dressed up for dinner we started the trek. To begin with it was a nice walk, and everyone was having a laugh. But when it got to about 7 o'clock, everyone began to get a little tired and hungry. We stopped off to look at the funfair and decided we really wanted to do that the next day. We carried on walking and had to decide where we wanted to go to dinner. This was really complicated because everyone likes different things, and some people were not willing to try new things - which is understandable because most of the food on the menu was unfamiliar to us. In the end we settled for a spanish pizzeria where people ordered pizza (obviously) and pasta. Those that wanted to try spanish ate paella. After dinner we made our way back to the hotel, to catch up on some much needed sleep. :)
