Awoke to a beautiful day in Tanah Rata. We had booked a day trip to a tea plantation, a butterfly farm, a forest walk, a stawberry farm and a lookout.
After breakfast (which was jam on bread and mango juice) we were picked up for a day of wild driving on narrow roads around blind corners without any road rules. We didn't hit anyone luckily although my hands are slightly sore from hanging on! We sat in the back of a Landrover 4wd (apparently Cameron Highlands boasts the largest number of Land Rovers outside of the U.K. military) and enjoyed the day. We went up to 2000 metres (the highest point on the Cameron Highlands) and to a lookout and lunch at the tea plantation. (Sadly, the tea we ordered for lunch was served as TEABAGS!!!)
Afternoon tea at a strawberry farm and strawberries and icecream. Yum!
Finished off the day at a Buddhist temple.
