Today we had booked to go on the 'Stardust' trip which is a 60 foot yacht sailing around the north eastern Langkawi waterways. We left our hotel and were taken to the start of the mangrove waterway boat trips. There were a million boats all trying to take off together and people everywhere. I was a bit nervous that this was going to be awful! A boat took us through the mangrove areas to where the 'Stardust' was anchored. We got on board with Pam, our guide. The boat was lovely and the service sensational. We cruised through the waterways without any other boats around us and did a few shore trips too. They let us use the 'boom net' which was nice to cool off. (see photos) Lunch was lovely and there were drinks, beer, wine and cocktails! We could see across to Thailand in the distance. Lots of swimming in the Andaman Sea which was very warm. A great day which we thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner at 'Wonderland Food Store' in Kuah Town.
