We arose to a nice sunny day although a little windy. After dropping into the local supermarket for some urgent supplies (chocolate) we headed out to Camberwell and had a guided tour of our daughter Claire's latest share house as well as eating a nice teacake that Claire made. All looked very nice especially the pool in the backyard! From there we headed up to the Dandenong Ranges stopping in Sassafrass for a much needed coffee after battling Melbourne traffic! We then decided to go for a walk to Sherbrooke Falls, a rather disappointing trickle compared to the raging torrent that we were anticipating! Then wandered around looking at craft shops etc before driving up to the summit of the mountain and lunch at the restaurant. By now the wind had picked up to what seemed like hurricane strength and we opted for the inside dining option. On then to Olinda for more fossiking before returning to the fun of peak hour Melbourne traffic. Dinner was had at the Post Office hotel in Coburg with one of Lisa’s former collegue’s Michelle and her husband Phil.
