The trip was a long one, but I had high expectations and Cecilie with me, so the 1.5 days of airplaine food and transithalls went by in a flash. (although one played in replay at insanely sloooow speed)It is worth noticing that when passing through immigration in Miami airport the disgruntled security man started donning his purple gloves and an even more sceptical look right before we approached the counter. It seemed I had done the ungodly mistake of holding my passport in my teeth while having a backpack in either hand.It seems that my saliva must contain some viral strain that is a crossing between rabies, ebola and genetal herpes. To be allowed to enter the allmighty customs agent domain of ultimate power Cecilie had to run over to the closest toilet to get some tissues. After a meticulous round with alcohol swabbing, his gloved hands were finally able to tolerate my highly contagious passport.Other than this the trip was quite unremarcable.Today we got up an hour early due to a mismatch with the alarmclock and local time. Regardless, the breakfast was good and the coffee warm. An hour later we met up with Eirik and Malin before embarking on a trip into town.I would not call it a great city, but its cool to see the average citizen here and just get a feel for the population. They are a smiling people that do not bother you too much, except for the neverending honking of car horns. The car horns I was told is the way of asking if you want a ride. So if someone honk their horn at you, just raise your hand and you´ll get a ride somewhere.Tonight there is some kind of information meeting before a dinner. Tomorrow we head on to AMAZONAS!!!! Gard
