Oz goes 2 Oz
Day 1
Hi,
Day 1 in Melbourne Kit and I did the usual sight seeing stuff, such as the old jail and a ride on the historic trams (pictured). Melbourne has a great cafe culture and, like most of oz, is very multicutural, so we had french crossiants for brekky, then some chinese pork pies for brunch (in China Town) and then a Turkish Kebab for Lunch!!
I liked Melbourne as it had a very relaxed atmosphere - especially the St. Kilda Beach district which was very nice.
In the evening we went to the MCG to watch an Aussie Rules match of foot ball, and experienced my first Aussie Meat Pie!! - All the locals had them! - on the packet it just refers to them as meat pie and when I looked on the ingredience I saw why! - a little bit of beef, a little bit of pork and a little bit of mutton - yummy - anyway they were very nice!
The match is very confusing and the rules seem to be made up as they go along - and there are 4 goal posts - what is all that about!! - in the end Melboune won and Richmond lost (which is apparently good!)

Day 2
Hi,
Day 2 in Melbourne we had to make quite a long journey to a town on the edge of Wilson's Prom national park called Foster, we started off by visiting Ramsey St (off of Neighbours) in real life its a real life street called Pin Oak Court - Kit showed me all the houses and who lived where - And I had my photo taken outside Harold's house!!!
The rest of the day was spent driving onto Foster
