Michael & Katrina's travels
Day 32
Very lazy day today chilling out and enjoying the views, including sunrise over the Rock and the Olgas. Nice to have relative civilisation again.
Saw a Wedge Tailed Eagle swooping around, they are pretty huge close up.
The Kimberley's are still flooded, Darwin was forecast for cyclones which rules out heading North. To the East, the Simpson Desert exit is flooded on the Qld side so looks like it is South tomorrow towards outback NSW and then maybe a quick jump over the border into Queensland from there.
Overnight: Yulara campsite

Ian Fernie Have just caught up and read all your reports at one shot, fascinating you've made an old geographer very happy. Off to Seil then Madrid/Extramadura/Salamanca in 10 days. Not quite in your league but we escape the pile-lowering royal wedding crap. See you June.
