Day 41

More painting but seeing as it was my birthday we were told to 'knock off early" and we duly obliged. We took a cool bag of beers out to a gorge on the property which was just beautiful in the afternoon sun.

On the way in Michael slipped into a pool of water and got wet feet in the gorge, much to my amusement... the photo is trying to dry his socks, shoes and trouser legs that zipped off.

Also went and had a look at the airstrip and old disused woodshed before having birthday dinner of roast lamb made by the station owners.

Certainly won't forget this birthday in a hurry.
