Today we fly to Amsterdam at 5:25pm. We have packed our luggage and are ready to leave about 3pm to catch the train to the airport. In the meantime we went to the bus stop to catch the bus from Copenhagen to Malmö in Sweden. A 1 hour return trip. The bus didn't arrive so we walked into Copenhagen to visit the Round House which is a very old building that has a ramp made of bricks instead of steps inside to get to the top. On each level there were displays showing the building, photos and structural parts. We could see the Malmö Bridge from the top. Some compensation I suppose! We found the best party shop in Copenhagen called Andersons. We had Danish Pastries and coffee/tea. We then went to the Botanic Gardens before going back to our accommodation for lunch just as it started to pour with rain. Luckily the rain had stopped by the time we had to leave for the train which was about a 10 minute walk. We had trouble getting train tickets as the machine wasn't working properly but as it wasn't in English we didn't realize straight away. Tickets finally purchased (fortunately the train was running late) we were on our way. The airport was ridiculously busy! I was so glad we had got there early but I was still doubting we had enough time. It took about 30 minutes to get to the baggage drop. Security was the next nightmare and I was really doubting that we would make it to our flight. The flight was delayed as we were not the only people in the situation. We finally flew out about 15 minutes late.
