Your mum let us know the website, so Uncle Steve and I will be checking in to see how you go as you make your way to Melbourne.
The weather can only improve - we've just had 10 days over 30 deg C. Just remember its different and it depends on your starting point.
As for jeans at $269 - you were on a remoter island and they were probably designer. Even I thought the prices were expensive and I live here.
Enjoy it for what it is, its a great country
Jamie!!
BOOO! G'day Amio, G'day Fairy-Tan! Sounds like your having amazing fun already!! Wow. What a cool smiley! I assume your having as much fun as this smiley!!! Mega jealous of you guys, but we are booking our tickets on the weekend so I'm rather exited
Keep having fun! Got any jobs yet?

Great to read your first instalment. Your journey to Rottnest sounds like something out of The Perfect Storm! I do hope the weather improves. I'm going to have to get some translations : what's a quokka, what's a lamington?

PS Amy: Daisy has a home and I'm taking the 'Bookends' on Saturday :-)

Was so surprised to come on here and find a post! Feel a bit out of the loop/silly as I was all prepared to wait a week for your internet to be up... :S I suppose I should've realised I could've left a message for you to read when you got it working! (like everyone else has :))
ANYWAY. everything sounds amazing so far. I'm so sorry about the ferry trip. I was on a very turbulent ferry once (not as bad as that though) and I know it's horrrriblee.
I can just picture you wandering round on your arrival. Sounds like you're getting straight stuck into things. Can't wait for the next blog!

Thanks for the first blog thingy! It all sounds unreal. Is it warm even though wet?
Well done for using a sick bag Mary-Ann, I knew there would be sick involved at some point with you! Hope Amy can cope with keeping you and your possessions together for the whole trip.
Have a great time and keep us up to date,

Enjoy the trip girls. Choir is still missing your voice Mary-Ann.
Have a really superb time, met your mum shopping when I was at work (John Lewis) Tuesday and she filled me in on what sounds like the trip of a lifetime. I think her and Caroline are already missing you immensely.
Enjoy Perth. I'm determined to get there one day too. I have family and friends who live there.
Make the most of it. Looking forward to reading about your adventures.
Bye for now

No, no, no!! What is up? Can't believe you travelled to Rotto through wind and rain. And seasick?!!
So good to be able to read about it all tho. Did you get your sunglasses Amy? And what do you make of the quokkas Mary-Ann?
Love and miss you bothxxx
