Sorry dad, like we said though we wrote a massive catch up one out and it got deleted so we weren't in the best mood to type it out again.
Yeah, it did look a bit smoky today but i don't know if that was it or not.
No photos of the cockroaches, our priority has been to get them as far away from us as possible!!
Glad to see your sense of humour hasn't changed, ahem...!!!
And mum, that sounds like a deal. Though i'm reeeeally missing my baking books :( when i get home i think it'll be a cupcake/choc crunch marathon!!!
Jane
talking of cockroaches reminded me of Jess and the slug and I knew that if she was with yu she;d have walked on it by mistake.
Other thing is that when you come home you have to do a barbie with anzac cookies and lammingtons for the rest of us so we know what we've been missing.

Hey you guys,
Blogs a bit thin on the web these days! Need some phots of the house sit. And the fire you saw? Never mind it sounds like they got a much bigger one burning down near Harvey. Beautiful NASA satellite pic shows massive smoke plume from Dwellingup blowing up to Perth (about 50 miles). http://rapidfire.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/subsets/?subset=Australia4.2009349.terra.1km
Mum says South Perth has copped some of the smoke.....how about your place? Or is it all blue sky there? Give my respect to Chuey for ridding you of the cockroach (any photos?) ... we had dozens of them in the caravan park in Karratha when I was working up there (crunch, crunch noise did not mean you were walking on gravel). It is developing into one of those pre-Christmas weeks here with cold drizzle all day long : 3 deg max so make most of heat and pool. having to do this on Mum's PC now cos paranoid work IT people have blocked your blog, or is that blogged your block?, to my laptop. See I can slip bad jokes into every communication. Luvyabyeee!

Grandma would hate you for giving all of us in Blighty the impression that every Aussie is drunk/leering/mad. Or maybe that's just the effect you two have on folk...
