Hey guys,
So we are back in Darwin and as per usual having an absolute blast. Dale, Mitch & Lilly have been amazing company along with Steve & Briah. Yesterday we went to the Crocosaurus Cove where we braved the "Cage Of Death". Steve and I went in a cage together and were put in the water with the second biggest crocodile in the park. Chopper. It was very scary, he came so close to us and at times we wanted to touch him. A memory shared with Steve I will NEVER forget. He was very entertaining and made it the most amazing experience in our lives.
Dale and Mitch went in a cage together and were out in with "Houdini". As soon as they were dropped into the watter he started circling them alost immediatley. It was great to watch from the outside although he was a bit of a lazy croc and didn't want to do as he was told..... They too had an amazing time.
Once we had finished we sat down for a bite to eat and afterwards Briah went for a swim with baby crocodiles. The 2 girls had a blast and were so well behaved, it was so good to see their gorgeous glowing smiles. They both held a baby crocodile, Lilly loved it! She goes crazy over baby crocs. We all got photos of our amazing day, Lifetime memories made for all.
Today, we went to the waterpark in Darwin and we all had such a good day. Steve and I went on a red waterslide, gosh it was the scariest thing I have ever done. Scarier than being 25mm away from giant Croc. I screamed the place down, it was so dark, fast and got your adrenaline pumping. We then went to attack the yellow slide. The fastest, smallest slide in the park. Was amazing but had no mat or tube, just your bare bum. Steve went down that but was uncomfortable as he couldn't sit down as he hurt his back then tried to sit up and hit his head haha. Poor fella. Briah and Mitch went down the red slide on a tube, they had a blast I then went with Mitch....... Gosh, I feared for my life. He was rocking, pulling and moving the tube up the sides of the slide. I thought we were going to flip! Definately an experience. We didn't get many photos as we were all in the water but the pictures are in our hearts and minds. Steve is feeling great right now and is ready to go home. It is Briahs first time flying I wonder how she will go. This has been an amazing holiday, with only the best company!
As this is our last blog entry, We all thankyou very much for following our blog, looking through our pictures and sharing our beautiful journey with us. Much love to all,
Sammii, Steve, Briah, Dale, Mitch & Lilly
