29th June 2013 - had breakfast with another girl from my room and spent tome talking before walking into the town. Went to the bank and then walked around to the different bus office to find a ticket to Lima. There is no one terminal in Peru cities were all the buses arrive and departe from and all offices together. It is a matter of walking around town and trying to find the offices for each of the different companies and compare what times, prices and services they offer. This took most of the morning. Headed back to the hostel to check a couple of things online about places and buses. Then went out again walking along looking at the shops and making our way back to a place we had seen earlier with a 6sol lunch special. The weather is really crappy. Which is hard when u are in a beach town were everything revolves around the water and water sports. It is over cast and cool, no sun. So we have to try and find other things to do.
Lunch was delicious... It was soup to start and then this big plate of chicken in a tomato and capsicum sauce with rice and lentils and a juice made from red corn.
After such a big meal late in the afternoon went back to hostel for a nap and rest which was needed as the sleep late night was very average due to the noise.
Went for a long sunset walk along the beach, walked south for a few hundred meters before a security guard told us we couldn't go an further because people were going to rob us so turned around and walked north for a nice long distance again before turning around as it was getting fairly dark and there was no lighting on the beach. Sat on the forshore and watched as the last of the sun set and just enjoyed the early evening before heading back to the hostel.
