Hey were just writing a really quick message (and probably our last) from Bahariya oasis. We woke this moring at 6 and drove for 12 hours through the sahara dessert sitting in the back of a 4 wheel drive jeep. Only one flat tire and two times trapped in the sand, which is apparently pretty damn good.Driving in the dunes pretty much feels like a real life rollercoaster. After sand boarding yesterday (amazing but painful!) we headed to a natural hot spring and got stuck out in the dessert after dark meaning the drive home was pretty white knuckle. Andrew, we speak a bit of arabic now so the harrasment isnt a problem, the red sea is a bit floaty, but your thinking of the dead sea ;) today was also the first day of Ramadan so no one but us can eat or drink till its dark really good fun. Cu really soon hannah and stu

Hi Hannah and Stuart
Good to keep up with your travels on your blog. Sorry not to put anything in here, but just the usual stuff! Although it is good to have finished work! No sign of baby arrival yet, so I may still have this big bump when you return next Monday (I am due on the 18th)!!
Alexandria sounds lovely and some good food to enjoy. Make the most of the cooler breeze etc before your next stage of the trip.
I can't believe how quickly the time is going, so it must be going quick for you too. The weather here is good - we are having a bit of that 'Indian summer' that I wished for.
Bye for now.
Love Mum xx

Hi Hannah and Stuart,
Sorry to of been out of touch but I kept finding your site blocked and then problems with the internet. Dad's back from Wales and now everything starts working again.
It all sounds amazing. Not sure about the police convoy (I have never needed a police escort) and is it safe to swim in the Nile? Our lives are quite boring at the moment with the normal routine. Alice did go to an oscar night with rangers all dressed up. Some great photos to show you.
Looking forward to seeing you Monday

Hi Stuart and Hannah
Hope you are having a great time. Are you at the resort on the Red Sea? Nathanael asks - is the sea red? Look after yourselves.

Hi Hannah and Stuart,
Good to hear from you last night. Sounds as if you quite enjoyed your strange taxi journey. I forgot to tell you Hannah that the cheque has turned up. I have put it into my account so I can tell if it has cleared and will then send the parcel next Tuesday and then put the money into your account. Hope you are now relaxing at your next hotel.
