WOW !!! what an awesome first two days to the journey. We have been based in Bangkok since we landed but we have squeezed every bit out of it before we leave for Chang Mai and Pai tonight.
Tuesday comprised of numerous temples and monuments around Bangkok including the amazing 50m buddha and the Grand Palace.
Yesterday we ventured a little further afield a vissited the floating markets, the Tiger Temple and also the Bridge over the River Kwai.
Humidity is hitting us like a fridge, food is amazing and beer is cheap - hope the remaning ??? number of days are as good as what these two have been.
The Thai's are super-friendly and have been a massive help in arranging our sight-seeing in Bangkok (down with the locals) and inviting us to see their freinds/uncles/dad's places here and in Sydney.
Internet Cafe's have varied in ambience, crampedness (this one is shocking) and whether they actually work or not at all - we will endevour to update this as much possible..
Off on a 11 hours bus ride in 2 hours time so must rush... love to everyone..
