Katie, Nolan, and I went to Sydney last Saturday. I have been here for a month and a half and just now made it to Sydney. We have been trying to let it warm up a little bit. Saturday we went to the markets and the Sydney Harbor. The first market we went to had lots of cheap stuff. We picked up some souvenir things. The next market we went to was arts and crafts. We watched an artist create really cool pictures with spray paint. The markets were heaps of fun. For lunch I had my first Australian kebab. Kebabs shops are popular here. It was grilled chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sauce in a tortilla. I think that they are pretty greasy at most places, but the one we found was nice and fresh. It was heaps good. We spent some time in the harbour, took some pictures of the Bridge. We stoped at watched a street performer that was a contortionist. Then we went up to the Opera House, which was really cool! It looks so big in pictures. Then from the plane it looked small, but in person it is pretty big. It was weird it didn't feel like Sydney until we saw the bridge and Opera House. Otherwise, it just felt like any other big city. It was a very nice introduction into the city.
